History
Pickard Roofing has combined quality roofing with customer service excellence since its humble beginnings. James E. Pickard Sr. started the family business out of his garage in 1928 and was joined by three of his sons after their return from World War II. Pickard Jr. started the business with quality, customer service, and excellence at the forefront of his work. They then moved from the garage to the current location in Durham, NC in 1950. From then on, the business stayed a family affair; with the 3rd generation of Pickard’s taking over the business in 1983. Jim Pickard III has kept the Pickard Roofing business model the same since its beginning; always providing quality roofing services combined with customer service excellence.
Working together as a close-knit family and mentoring the next generation of roofers is a mission for the Pickard family. Pickard Roofing has set the landscape for the future generations to provide the same, if not better, quality roofing services as James E. Pickard Sr. did.
